The Connection Between The Gut & The Brain

Hi everyone!

New Year Greetings to all!

Make the choice that 2020 will be your best year yet! There is no better way to ensure that than to work on ourselves–body, mind, soul and spirit. Today’s Health Chat is on the Connection Between the Gut and Brain.

Scientists for many years have determined that there is a distinct connection between the gut and the brain. Dr. David Perlmutter has written several books on the subject, as well as, many other doctors and scientists. It is very important to improve the gut (aka the microbiome) no matter what conditions are manifesting in the body. There are many diseases and conditions that scientists have tracked back to poor gut health like autoimmune illnesses, skin conditions, type 2 diabetes, chronic fatigue, maintaining healthy weight, depression, memory loss, acid reflux and many others. Your gut has its own nervous system and neurotransmitters that are in your brain are found in your gut. Improving the gut is the first step on the Path to Wellness.

I have been working on this successfully for several years so if you have questions please contact me and we can work together on your journey towards a healthier new you.
